Employer of disabled people within the protected labor market can become an organization/firm, which employs more than 50% disabled people of the total number of employees. However, it is always necessary to conclude written Recognition Agreement by the Czech Labor Office, which is valid for 3 years, from the Labor Office in whose district the organization/firm has its registered office.
If you would like to be a „substitute performance“ provider (see link), first you must employ 50% disabled people of the total number of your employees for more than one year. Nowadays, however, we know that you can employ disabled people within the open labor market too, which may be a way how to get high-quality employees and to build a socially responsible business at the same time.
